Orientation and onboarding documents are required prior to starting your residency or fellowship placement. You will be provided an orientation which will include an in-person or virtual presentation, e-learning and review of our Orientation Handbook. Dates and times will be provided by Karen Anderson or Jane Varley if you are coming on elective. You’ll find Academic Affairs on the 3rd floor of the main hospital, located at the end of the hall across from nursing unit 3A in room #3333. Details such as computer accounts, locker assignments, scrubs etc. will be discussed at orientation.
Forms
All forms are required no less than two weeks prior to starting your placement. Please complete and forward to Karen Anderson or Jane Varley (electives) noting all should be sent in one e-mail. *denotes form is required
Identification
Forward a head shot in jpg format to your hospital coordinator no less than 2 weeks prior to your first day.
E-learning
You will be provided a link to required hospital orientation modules via your NOSM e-mail address or for non NOSM electives, your provided e-mail. Modules should take approximately 3 hours to complete.
