Matt Murray made many dreams come true when he brought the Stanley Cup to the Health Sciences Centre on Tuesday, July 19th.

Thanks to Matt, champion goaltender for the Pittsburgh Penguins, patients, families and staff were able to share in a very special moment. The opportunity to view the Stanley Cup and meet the NHL hockey champion is something that would have otherwise been impossible for our patients who are unable to leave the hospital.

At the Health Sciences Centre, we always aim to improve the patient experience, and thanks to Matt, we were able to accomplish that in a very unique way. Now, patients who look back on their time at the hospital will certainly remember a positive and exciting experience.
