Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre (TBRHSC) belongs to the community it serves – the residents of Northwestern Ontario. Our Board of Directors is comprised of dedicated volunteers from the community, committed to ensuring our Hospital provides safe, quality Patient and Family Centred Care. The Strategic Plan 2026 was jointly developed and launched with the Thunder Bay Regional Health Research Institute and we are guided in our work by the priorities of
Equity, Diversity & Inclusion, Patient Experience, Staff Experience, and
Research, Innovation & Learning. These priorities, along with supports, will lead us to a stronger, healthier and
Sustainable Future. This plan, developed with extensive input from the community of Northwestern Ontario, reflects the needs of our patients as identified by the population we serve; the plan shapes the future of health care delivery in our region. I am proud to Chair this Board of Directors. We are inspired by the uncompromising commitment of our passionate and skilled employees, professional staff, researchers, learners and volunteers.
