This fast-paced renewal course is designed for the experienced BLS provider (those who are confident in their BLS skills through regular use in their work in the Emergency Department, Critical Care Unit, Intensive Care Unit on code team, or paramedics and first responders) who can demonstrate knowledge through written and skills assessment in a concentrated program. ACLS Renewal Course
Health care providers who take this course must complete and pass the pre-course self-assessment with a score of 70% or higher, have a current Heart and Stroke Foundation BLS course completion card and be proficient in the following: performing high-quality BLS skills as per the 2020 guideline updates for CPR and ECC; basic ECG interpretation; understanding ACLS drugs; and bag-mask ventilations.
