Temporary Closure of Main Entrance Doors (March 17-28)

Starting Monday, March 17 until Friday, March 28, the Main Entrance doors of Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre will be temporarily closed to accommodate maintenance to the flooring.

Patients accessing Cancer Centre services can do so at the West Entrance doors.

All other patients, families, and staff can access the Hospital via the Renal Entrance doors (adjacent to the Main Entrance). To view the map, click HERE.

Please ensure to follow the signage and avoid any barriers for your safety.

Volunteers will be available at the Renal Entrance doors to help guide patients to the main lobby. Wheelchairs will be available inside the Renal and West entrances.

There are NO impacts to the following:

  • Vehicle pick-up and drop-off — this will remain at the front entrance roundabout.
  • Renal patients — can continue to access the Hospital via the Renal doors.
