Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre is looking for research participants to take part in a quality improvement project being implemented by the Research Ethics Office.

“We’re inviting participants who were involved in a research project at our Health Sciences Centre in the last 2 years to provide their valuable feedback on the current status of our Hospital’s research processes,” said Laurel Knowles, Research Ethics Officer. “This survey is the first step in a quality improvement initiative that intends to create a baseline of current perceptions of our processes, and identify any barriers in communication that may exist between the Research Ethics Board, researchers, and the research participants.”

The survey should take about 20 minutes to complete. If you were a recent research participant and would like to complete the survey it can be found here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/JZY6CVZ.

The survey is anonymous. Please ensure that you do not include information that may identify you, and you can choose not answer any question you like. Once you have submitted your answers, you will not be able to withdrawal your data from the project.

The Research Ethics Office thanks you very much in advance for your feedback.

Please note that the online survey is hosted by “Survey Monkey” which is a web survey company located in the USA. The security and privacy policy for Survey Monkey can be viewed at: http://help.surveymonkey.com/articles/en_US/kb/I-am-in-Canada-How-does-the-U-S-PATRIOT-Act-affect-my-privacy.
