Session Objectives – Participants will be:
- given example of current and ongoing research regarding HIIT in the chronic stroke population
- able to understand benefits of HIIT in chronic stroke population
- provided an update on current research for using functional muscle stimulation devices (more specifically Bioness 200) on stroke population with upper extremity hemiparesis
- able to review the benefits of using the Bioness H200 on stroke clients with upper extremity hemiparesis and the effectiveness of incorporating this device into treatment plans
Target Audience: Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Physiatrists and other Health care providers working or interested in stroke.
