Functional Assessment: The Six-Minute Walk Test for Clinical Researchers and Clinicians

A new online course that our University of Toronto, Physical Therapy Department is offering this spring, designed by Lisa Wickerson, entitled Functional Assessment: The Six-Minute Walk Test for Clinical Researchers and Clinicians.

This course is designed to assist both clinical researchers and clinicians in honing their skills in administering and interpreting this outcome measure to ensure best practices and high standards.

COURSE OVERVIEW

The six-minute walk test is a common outcome measure used in a variety of clinical populations to measure functional exercise capacity and evaluate the response to rehabilitation, medical, surgical and pharmacological interventions.
