Quality Rounds Ontario: Falling Through the Cracks: Greg’s Story

January 24, 2019 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Greg Price was 31 when he was diagnosed with cancer. His journey through Alberta’s health care system and untimely death led his family to tell his story in hopes of inspiring positive change in the health care system.

The short film, Falling Through the Cracks: Greg’s Story, is now part of a series of projects run by a not-for-profit established in Greg’s honour. These projects have highlighted common failures in continuity of care, and more importantly, they’ve inspired better care by engaging frontline clinicians who are passionate about their work and the wellbeing of the patients they serve.

Speakers:

Following the film, hear from Greg’s family members:

David Price
Director, Greg’s Wings Project

Teri Price
Executive Director, Greg’s Wings Project

Moderator: Lee Fairclough, Vice President, Quality Improvement, Health Quality Ontario
