Patient Accounts and Cashier services, located beside Admitting, are available from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. weekdays and 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. weekends, except holidays. Cashiers offer safe keeping services.
Billing staff located in the Emergency Department are available from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Monday to Friday and 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on the weekends. Billing staff register patient accommodation requests, request changes, prepare billings and verify insurance coverage on request.
If you know that you will be discharged on a holiday, please arrange to settle your account in advance as only basic cashier coverage will be provided by Admitting. The Health Sciences Centre accepts cheque, cash, Interact and major credit cards.
