Raising Funds for After Stroke Program – The Great Lighthouse Rescue

On June 28, 2023 the FAST4life Lighthouse Rescue Team of Todd Kennedy, Esme French, Leanne Johnson, Erika Kurm, Amy Weeden and Noah Godin were shuttled across the cold waters of Lake Superior at the Thunder Bay harbour to await rescue at the lighthouse.

The team, along with friends, Albert Brulé, CEO of United Way of Thunder Bay (far right) and Commander Moulson of the HMCS Griffon (far left) want to send out a HUGE thank you to our generous Donors and Mayor Ken Boshcoff (middle) for hearing our S.O.S. (Support Our Services) and rescuing our March of Dimes Canada FAST4life team during the Great Lighthouse Rescue!

This collaborative event raised over $79k for United Way funded agencies and programming, including March of Dimes Canada After Stroke Services!

We all made it home safely.
