His journey through Alberta’s health care system and untimely death led his family to tell his story in hopes of inspiring positive change in the health care system. \nThe short film\, Falling Through the Cracks: Greg’s Story\, is now part of a series of projects run by a not-for-profit established in Greg’s honour. She has published more than 70 research articles and obtained over $6 million in funding. Dr. Salbach’s knowledge translation research has focused on exploring the influence of facilitation\, and guideline implementation tools on advancing stroke rehabilitation practice; and the implementation of task-oriented community exercise programs for older adults with balance and mobility limitations. Dr. Salbach has expertise with cluster randomized trials\, process evaluations\, systematic and scoping reviews\, measurement\, and multi-level modeling. She co-chairs the writing group to update the Canadian Stroke Best Practice Recommendations.
