DESCRIPTION:Registration: Online registration (including credit card number in case of cancellation) is required. \nTextbooks can be purchased from Season’s Gift Shop.  A limited number of textbooks are available for loan through the TBRHSC Library. \nTarget Audience: This interprofessional program is intended for health care providers who want to learn the fundamental concepts of neonatal resuscitation.   \nDescription: The program consists of 2 parts. \n\n Self-Study of the 7thedition Textbook of Neonatal Resuscitation (2016) and successful completion of the NRP online examination is required prior to attending the course.\n Participation in the one day\, hands on course.\n\nEvaluation: \n\n  To successfully complete the course and obtain a Course Completion Card\, you must:\n\n–\ncomplete the online examination\, using the link provided\, within 30 days of your scheduled NRP Provider Course. This statement provides the first broad-based\, stroke-specific guidance around secondary stroke prevention in pregnancy. The first part of a two part series\, this statement focuses on unique aspects of secondary stroke prevention in a woman with a prior history of stroke or transient ischemic attack who is\, or is planning to become\, pregnant. During this webinar participants will learn more about the current rates of stroke occurring in pregnancy\, and secondary prevention of stroke management considerations and strategies during pregnancy as addressed in the consensus statement. Some highlights of the acute stroke management during pregnancy consensus statement will also be presented.
