DESCRIPTION:A 2 day course taking place Wednesday\, June 23- Thursday\, June 24 from 08:30h-16:30h in the Ibn Sina Simulation Centre \nAbout this Event\nThis course is now full  \nTarget Audience: \nThis course is designed for healthcare providers who either direct or participate in the management and assessment of respiratory and/or cardiovascular emergencies and cardiopulmonary arrest in pediatric patients. \nRNs only please. \nCourse Pre-requisites: \nParticipants must have a current Heart and Stroke BLS certificate within 12 months of the course.\nParticipants should be proficient in: \n\n\n\nECG interpretation\nPALS medication administration\nBag-mask ventilation\nSign up early as space is limited\n\n\n\n\n**Priority registration for staff working in ICU\, & ED.Provider manuals (mandatory) and ECC Handbooks (optional) can be purchased in from Interprofessional Education for $60 and $38 respectively.
