People who have experienced a stroke or heart condition can face challenges when returning to their previous role due to physical\, communication\, psychological\, and cognitive changes. During this webinar\, Dr. Allan Garland will discuss his research published this year that demonstrates the impact that stroke and cardiovascular events have on an individual’s work and earnings. This will be followed by two occupational therapists who are experts in vocational rehabilitation and they will provide practical approaches and strategies to support people who are planning to return to work following a stroke or cardiac event.
