The Screen for Life Coach is a mobile cancer screening service, offering breast, cervical and colorectal cancer screening in one convenient location. Each year, the coach travels to more than 60 different locations across Northwestern Ontario bringing cancer screening services closer to your home.


Cancer Screening Services on the Screen for Life Coach

Our services are confidential and safe. Our direct digital mammography unit and staff meet all performance and quality criteria for the Canadian Association of Radiologists Mammography Accreditation Program.

Breast Cancer Screening

The Screen for Life Coach offers direct digital mammography and is part of Ontario Breast Screening Program (OBSP). The OBSP is the provincial breast cancer screening program that oversees breast cancer screening for women between the ages of 50 and 74 years.

Cervical Cancer Screening

Women between the ages of 21 and 70 years, who have ever been sexually active, can have their cervical cancer screening Pap tests the Screen for Life Coach. Registered nurses who have been trained in cervical cancer screening will complete the test for you.

Colorectal Cancer Screening

Men and women can book an appointment on the Screen for Life Coach to get a ColonCancerCheck fecal occult blood test (FOBT) kit from a registered nurse. You are eligible for an FOBT kit if you are a man or woman between the ages of 50 and 74 years with no first-degree family history (parent, sibling or child) of colorectal cancer.

It is important to know that there is no washroom on the coach. Please remember to use the washroom before you come for your appointment.
