A new multi-colour laser system eliminates the need for repeat visits for treatment for patients, which is especially beneficial to patients who travel in for treatment from the region. Funding for the $185,000 multiple beam laser unit, which is used to treat a variety of serious eye conditions, was made possible through the generosity of donors to the Health Sciences Foundation.
