The easy-to-read guides have information about what causes symptoms, how to manage them, and where to get helpful resources. Your health care providers may also use the guides to help teach you to manage your symptoms and learn strategies that you can safely use at home.

As a patient, you can feel comfortable that Cancer Care Ontario’s guides have been created by a large team and have been reviewed by doctors, nurses and other health care providers who are experts in symptom management. The guides will tell you what the research says are the best ways to manage symptoms.
